Just because your closet is small, doesn't mean that this space that you have provided can't be effective. Maybe your closet is a small, but you have way too many articles of clothing, shoes, belts and or ties. To solve your small closet organizing problems, one of the absolute best things you can do is to start with a clean slate. In order to do this you will need to pull out every single item in your closet and place it somewhere, or it will not be in the way.
Once you have completely clean out your closet, it is a good idea to go through everything that you have pulled out and really look at it and decide if it's something that you need or not. If you have not used something that's in your closet for the last six months, chances are you do not need it. If you feel it is something you cannot get rid of try finding somewhere else that you can store it.
Another small closet solution, is to add a door hanging rack. Door hanging racks are great for storing your shoes, ties, belts, and even purses off the ground and out of the way.
Now that you have narrowed down your items to things that you need, you should purchase a closet system organizer. There are many different closet organizers to choose from, so try to find the one that will suit your needs the best.
If you have a lot of seasonal clothing such as jackets swimwear things that you only use on certain parts of the year, it is a good idea to store these elsewhere. There are tubs and boxes design that will allow you to keep your seasonal clothing safe from blogs and malts, while allowing you to put them in tight spaces such as under the bed or even in your attic.
These are just a few small closet solutions that will help you get started to organizing your closet to the best of your ability. As you start cleaning your closet you will find your own personal ways in which you can organize your personal items fit best in your closet.
